Parent's night is October 26th @ 8pm

  • All new and returning parents are invited to join us for Parents Night. Current board members and committee chairs will be present to answer questions regarding 

    • The swim season
    • Navigating swim meets
    • Practice expectations 
    • Upcoming fundraising opportunities 
    • Completing volunteer hours 
    • Discuss social gathering ideas

  • Senior, Moray and Waves swimmers should contact dspellman at iceels dot orgCoach Don to set up an appointment if they have not already done so.

ICE 'Mock Meet' on November 2nd

  • SWIMMERS: New swimmers experience competition for the first time in the comfortable environs of their home pool with the help of our older swimmers. Afterwards, all swimmers on the pool deck will be sorted into multi-age/ multi-group teams for a relay or two.
  • PARENTS: All parents are encouraged to remain on deck for this event and cheer on our swimmers. Experienced parents should provide meet tips and explanations in real time to our new families.
    • Volunteer to time and you will see what the swimmers see and hear as they get ready to race.
    • Come stand next to an official and find out what those folks in the white shirts are really doing out there.
  • First time - no problem! Explanations and instructions provided.

The evening concludes with Pizza and cookies for all participants.

  • Nov 2: ICE 'Mock Meet' - a practice meet before competition begins for our newest members.
  • Nov 10-12: A+ Speedo Midwest Challenge - You must meet the qualifying standards to participate. Morays & Seniors only. Qualifying times are 15-16 A times. 
  • Nov 11-12: DASH & LMST Fall Invite @ Linn-Mar - all groups. First meet for new Frost. 
  • Nov 18-19: DMSF Fall Invite @ Des Moines: Cubes - Senior. 
  • Dec 1-3:  ICE  Irving B Weber Invitational - HOME meet; plan to volunteer during the weekend.
  • Dec 8-10 Linn-Mar Winter Invitational @ Linn-Mar Aquatic Center. Open to all groups.
