ICE swimmer Alayna McCafferty represented City High at the Girls High School State Meet, swimming both the 100 back and the backstroke leg of the medley relay.

2015 Speedo Midwest Senior Challenge: Senior group athlete Leo Xiao raced to an 11th place finish in the 200y BR (2:13.29)! Morays athletes Mason Wang (200y BR, 59th) and Meirav Flatté (200y BK, 45th) also posted some solid early season times. 

Finishing the 1st Robert Naylor 3.5K Open Water Swim in under an hour were ICE swimmers Leo Xiao (2nd), Mason Wang (4th), Liz Uribe (9th), and Quinn Kopelman (11th).

Brennan & Donald Hill took 1st & 2nd in the 1st Robert Naylor 2.5K Open Water Swim

Meirav Flatté swam a AA time in the 400 IM, Averi Loria picked up her AAA time in the 200 backstroke, and Ryan Boeding swam a AAAA time in the 50 free at the ISI LC Championships.  

ICE swimmers Boyd Skelley, Yangtian Shangguan, Andy Luo, John Li, Averi Loria, Jo Kopelman, Edie Knoop, Clara Froescher, and Meirav Flatté swam to  a total of 19 new A times at the ISI LC Championships.

Congratulations to our Regionals Event Champions: Brennan Hill (50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 Free), Ella Hochstetler (100 Back), Amber Rose (1000 Free)

ICE Time Drop Champions (Regionals): Carmela Cohen, Brennan Hill, Mesarah Hnesh, Ella Hochstetler and Alexander Thurston all dropped more than 30 seconds during their individual events. Brennan and Ella also picked up new Q times. 

Congrats to Abby Caylor on her 2nd place finishes in both the 100 back and the 100 fly and to Amber Rose for finishing 3rd in the 100 fly and the 500 free. 

Congrats to the following athletes who accepted the challenge of a new event during regionals: Gary Chen (100 br, 200 fr), Jared Coiner (100 ba, 200 fr), Ella Hochstetler (500 fr), Julian Kopelman (200 fr) Claire Loria (100 br, 200 fr), Ethan McLaughlin (50 br), Aiden Petersen (500 fr), Amber Rose (100 fl), Anja Rumping (200 br).
